Waahoo! I made it! And more importantly, my car made it!
Today I left Portland, Oregon for the short drive north. Everything was getting me excited today: entering Washington state, seeing Mt. Rainier, seeing Seattle and other familiar sights, arriving at my brother’s house in Magnolia…
When I got to my brother’s house I unloaded some stuff from my car there and chilled for a few hours and rode my brother’s scooter around. I then headed over to my End-of-the-Road Nerd Dinner at the Red Robin in Redmond. Well, the other one. No, the one by campus. Yes, off 520.
It was great to see Brian Henderson, Glenn Block, Jon Bach, and other folks!
Tomorrow I am off to… oh right. I guess it’s time to get settled. Or do it again.
