Many of you do not know Wendy: wife, mother, WPF developer, and agilist from New York City. She is also a cancer survivor in training.
In 2009 Wendy was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma and is currently undergoing high dose chemotherapy and radiation treatments at Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Center.
Unfortunately, this also means that she had to leave her job and she is separated from her family most of the time. As well her husband had to take part time work in order to be able to take care of their daughter, and the bills are starting to add up.
